Welcome to Clifden, the heart of Connemara. This charming coastal town offers a perfect blend of rich history, stunning scenery and delicious local food.

Get ready to walk, taste and explore as we sample local produce, meet passionate producers and learn about Ireland’s culinary traditions. Your guide will share stories of life as an organic sheep farmer, a love of foraging and a deep respect for the quality of Irish food.

Along the way we’ll taste artisan cheeses, charcuterie, fresh seafood, sweet treats, sea weeds and great coffee. A gin or whiskey tasting is available as an optional extra.

  • Transport to and from Clifden.

Additional Information

  • Tours are for groups of 2-14 people.
  • Minimum charge is for four guests.
  • Tours run in all weathers except during Orange or Red Weather Warnings.
  • Dietary requirements must be notified at booking.
  • Children are welcome and offered child-friendly tastings.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made with a minimum of 14 days’ notice before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the tour date are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged in full.

If the number of guests attending the tour is fewer than originally booked, no partial refund will be given unless Fable Tours is notified at least seven days in advance of the tour date.

Customers will receive a full refund if a tour is cancelled due to weather warnings.
