This private Connemara Culinary Adventure is designed for small groups who want to experience the best of local food at a relaxed, personal pace. Each tour is tailored to your interests, whether that is seafood, foraging or farm to fork produce. Guided by a local food expert, you will explore Connemara’s diverse food landscape while meeting the people behind the produce.
What You Will Experience
Your day may include a mix of farm visits, tastings and gentle walking, depending on location and season. Experiences can include:
- A visit to a vegetable farmer supplying Michelin star restaurants
- Time at a bilingual café focused on local food and sustainability
- Meeting a small scale food producer with cult following condiments
- An oyster farm visit for guests based in North Connemara
- Roadside or shoreline foraging
Your guide comes from an organic farming background, forages daily and lives on a small holding. She has been recognised as a Local Food Hero and Ambassador to Food on the Edge.

Pick Up and Drop Off
- Pick Up: At your accommodation or another agreed location
- Drop Off: Usually the same location as pick up

- Weather appropriate clothing
- Waterproof shoes suitable for farm visits
What’s Included
- Expert local guide for the duration of the tour
- All entrance fees
- All meals and tastings as outlined in your itinerary
What’s Not Included
- Transport. Guests must provide their own transport
Additional Information
- Tours operate in most weather conditions
- Tours do not run during Orange or Red weather warnings
- Dietary requirements must be advised at the time of booking
- Children are welcome and offered child friendly drinks and tastings
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made with a minimum of 14 days’ notice before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the tour date are non-refundable.
No-shows will be charged in full.If the number of guests attending the tour is fewer than originally booked, no partial refund will be given unless Fable Tours is notified at least seven days in advance of the tour date.
Customers will receive a full refund if a tour is cancelled due to weather warnings.
