How do I book a tour?

Booking is easy. Simply select your preferred tour, choose a date, and submit your details through our online booking form. We will confirm your tour and provide a bespoke itinerary tailored to your group.

Can I book a tour for a specific group size?

Yes, our tours are private and designed for 2 to 14 guests. Please note there is a minimum charge equivalent to four people. Larger groups can be facilitated on some tours, please emails with numbers & preferred dates in advance.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Cancellations made at least 14 days before the tour date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days, no-shows, or reduced guest numbers (without 7 days notice) are non-refundable. Tours cancelled due to Orange or Red weather warnings receive a full refund. Contact us at info@fabletours.com to make changes.

What is included in the tour?

Your tour includes a private guide, all meals, tastings, and entrance fees as outlined in your itinerary.

What is not included?

Transport to and from the meeting point is not included. Please arrange your own transport.

How long is a typical tour?

Tours vary depending on your interests. We offer 2hr foraging walks and half/full-day Clifden Tours. Your detailed itinerary will be sent once your booking is confirmed.

Can children join the tour?

Yes, children are welcome. We provide child-friendly drinks and tastings and encourage them to explore the local food and nature.

What should I wear?

Dress for the Irish weather. Comfortable waterproof shoes are recommended for farm visits and walking.

Do you accommodate dietary requirements?

We will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements with advanced notice, however as all food tastings are provided by independent producers and not prepared by Fable Tours we cannot guarantee full suitability or accept full responsibility.

What happens if it rains?

Tours run in most weather conditions. Only Orange or Red weather warnings will result in cancellation and a full refund.

Where do the tours start and finish?

Your guide will meet you at your accommodation or another agreed location. Drop off is usually at the same location.

Absolutely. Fable Tours supports small-scale producers, follows seasonal and local sourcing, and highlights sustainable farming and food traditions in Ireland’s west.

Yes, every tour is designed to connect you with local farmers, artisan producers, and foragers who create and care for the food you’ll taste.
